‘Blindspot’

“Blindspot” Season 3 will feature a two-year time-jump, but details about Patterson’s (Ashley Johnson) whereabouts will be revealed very early on.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Patterson will reunite with someone very familiar, but this character is one that fans wouldn’t necessarily expect. There are speculations that a man from Patterson’s past may try and rekindle their relationship with her. But it is still unclear whether or not Patterson will say yes.

In June, TV Line reported that the cast of “Blindspot” went to Italy to film their upcoming scenes in the Season 3 premiere. Even though a photo of Patterson wasn’t leaked online, a fan commented that Patterson will now have long, brown hair. After all, two years have already passed, and Patterson might have decided to change her hair color from blonde to brunette. The actress herself also confirmed that she got extensions for her role in the hit NBC TV series.

Patterson is a respected member of Kurt Weller’s (Sullivan Stapleton) team. She has been instrumental in cracking certain codes and clues in relation to Jane Doe’s (Jaimie Alexander) tattoos. There have also been several instances wherein Patterson led the team into discovering where the criminals have been hiding.

Every now and then, Patterson is linked to a male character. However, none of her relationships lasted. In Season 1, episode 9, titled “Authentic Flirt,” David (Joe Dinicol) tried to win Patterson’s heart back by helping her crack a code. However, David didn’t know that he could get himself in a huge trouble for doing so. The character was killed off, and Patterson struggled to move on from the incident.

While speaking with Variety at that time, “Blindspot” creator Martin Gero explained why it was necessary for David to die. “It was an important reminder that these tattoos are extremely dangerous. On a show like this when you have mortal jeopardy every week, people have to die otherwise the show stops being credible,” he said.

“Blindspot” Season 3 will premiere on NBC on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. EST. This is the first time that “Blindspot” will air on a Friday. In Season 1, the series aired on Mondays and in Season 2, the show aired on Wednesdays.

“Send my love to Rosie, wherever she may be,” – John Lennon

That quote is in the intro of the song. Rosie is Rosie Hamlin of the Rosie & The Originals.

I learned about this song when Yoko released Menlove Avenue in 1986. A year later, this was featured in the film Date With An Angel, which starred Phoebe Cates-Kline. I remember the song, but nothing about the film. Like any fan, just wanted to see Phoebe then.

Anyway, this did not make it to John’s Rock N Roll album. The song was originally recorded by Rosie & The Originals in 1960. Rosie (the songwriter) considers John’s version as the best cover of the song. She died three months ago I just learned.

Some critics dismiss John’s vocals here. But more than many are touched by his rendering.

Catherine Vaz, a year ago: I wonder if he had been alive still, would he have made more songs like this one? Cause it’s by far my favourite of John Lennon. Can’t help myself but repeat it again and again and again…Oh, wait, that’s the lyrics of “Woman”, lol…

U2 singer Bono talks development aid with French president Macron | ABS-CBN News

PARIS – Irish rock star Bono, founder of the ONE campaign against poverty and disease, met on Monday with French President Emmanuel Macron, who stressed his wish to increase development aid, according to the U2 frontman.

“I never had many conversations quite like that, a president very open to finding new, innovative ways to solve the problems affecting the world’s poor,” Bono told reporters after the meeting at the French presidential palace.

“We talked about the refugee crisis and how most Europeans now understand that what happens in Africa matters to them,” the Irish singer and humanitarian added.

Macron “reconfirmed” his commitment to increase development aid to 0.55 percent of GDP by 2022, the singer told journalists, a move he described as “really important for all our campaigners”.

The French government has decided to cut its aid development budget for 2017 as part of wider cost-cutting measures, a move which has been criticized by Bono’s ONE group.

Bono also met with French first lady Brigitte Macron, a former teacher, discussing “how to deal with 30 million girls not going to school”.

The U2 singer is no stranger to the Elysee Palace having already met Macron’s predecessors Jacques Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande.

Emmanuel Macron will continue meeting on Wednesday with Barbadian singer-songwriter Rihanna, ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education, to discuss France’s funding of international education after she brought up the matter on Twitter last month.
